an Environment for Play
Tulkarm camp, Tulkarm, Palestine
With a HOPING small grant, the Committee for Services held a summer camp to provide Palestinian refugee children with a safe environment for play while at the same time learning some much needed skills. The Committee purchased one computer, printer and copier, as well as art and office supplies. Transportation, trips and 150 individual child art kits were funded by the grant. The summer camp gave the children relief from the miserable conditions in the camp, and introduced them to the use of computers.
