Student Retention Program and Summer workshops
Shatila camp, Beirut, Lebanon

With a HOPING grant, the Children and Youth Centre in Shatila was able to employ two teachers, as well as purchase stationery and equipment for the 2004-2005 academic year and summer recess. This was for an education project offering extra support to children at risk of dropping out of school. Forty students benefited from the programme, as well as from a supplementary summer programme.
