camp for Disabled children
Askar camp, Nablus, Palestine
A HOPING small grant provided for a summer camp for children of special needs in Askar camp, Nablus. Administered by the local Committee for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled, the camp provided both disabled and able refugee children a space and opportunity to play together. Normally isolated from each other by checkpoints and the lack of adequate transportation, the disabled children were able to enjoy being in a social environment where they could learn new skills whilst having fun.
