Eid Party for Palestinian Children
Jenin camp, Jenin, Palestine

HOPING sponsored the Eid (holiday celebrating the end of Ramadan) party in Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank. Organized by the Not to Forget Association, an organization dedicated to providing job training and welfare services to young women in the Jenin camp and its environs, the party distributed new Eid clothing purchased from local merchants at hugely-discounted prices, school satchels and supplies, footballs and kneepads, and organized party fun for the neediest children in the devastated refugee camp.
