Supporting Educational Programs for Youth in Palestinian Unrecognized Villages

There are currently 40 Palestinian villages in Israel that are unrecognized by the State. As such, they receive minimal, if any, basic infrastructural support, such as electricity, running water and schools or health centres. In an effort to support children currently residing in these villages, the HOPING Foundation teamed up with the Emil Touma Institute in Haifa and the Association of Forty to provide local Palestinian youth activists and volunteers with small grants to set up educational programs for youth.
