September 2006Emergency Aid for Palestinian Refugees in Iraq
With the help of a local youth volunteer committee in Yarmouk camp in Syria, the HOPING Foundation was able to provide 430 Palestinian refugees currently stranded along the borders between Jordan and Syria and Iraq with emergency food rations, tents, school supplies for volunteer teachers for the children and other basic needs. These supplies were absolutely crucial as more and more Palestinians were fleeing threats on their lives in Baghdad.
