2006Shams Bladna Children’s Magazine
Palestinian refugee camps, Lebanon
HOPING sponsored the publication of the first three issues of Shams Bladna ('Our Land's Sun') children’s magazine (1750 copies each). The magazine was an initiative that actively integrated young people into the design, writing and production of the magazine. Participatory workshops were held in various refugee camps in Lebanon and the children’s suggestions were integrated into the magazines, which were then widely distributed throughout the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
