Strengthening Youth Activity Centres

In coordination with the Union of Youth Activity Centres (UYAC), HOPING was able to continue and expand its support of a variety of childrens’ activities in refugee camps in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza Strip:

We also continued to work with existing local Youth Activity Centres in the Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank. We sponsored several sports activities and helped to provide football and other sports equipment for youth football leagues and sporting clubs in the Deir Ammar and Arroub Refugee Camps Youth Activity Centres. We helped the Qalandia and the Nur Shams refugee camps refurbish and rebuild parts of their demolished centres, and also helped to expand the limited capacities of Youth Activity Centres in the Far’ra and Silwad refugee camps.
