HOPING Foundation's scarf and tee shirts, designed exclusively by Bella Freud to coincide with the 2004 Primal Scream Benefit Concert, were featured in the March 2005 issue of Vogue. Many charities are using merchandise as key fundraising tools – HOPING's garments are cited by Ellen Burney as a prime example. "It’s very important to have really cool merchandising as it means that people are inadvertantly drawn to the charity," says Freud.
